#5113 1886 Freight House (Red) (Pennsylvania Railroad)
The design for this kit was taken from plans drawn in 1886 for a “Standard Freight House” prepared for the Pennsylvania Railroad. The walls are embossed board-and-bat siding with wood bracing. Wood freight houses where used by nearly all railroads and this model fits the bill for a great looking small town freight house for your Pike. Also included are a set of wood crates and a barrel. (The figures and tools are shown for comparison and are not included.) The photo shown is not red, but the kit is, a better photo will be posted at a later date.
