The Golden Empire Historical and Modeling Society will be hosting
their annual Model Train Show, at the Kern County Fairgrounds, 1142
South `P' Street, Bakersfield, January 13th and 14th. Here is a map

The train show will be open to the public on Saturday 10:00 AM to
5:00 PM, and on Sunday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is $6.00 per
person. Children ages 12 and below are admitted free when accompanied
by a paying adult.
The one-time admission charge is good for both days of the show. Over
100 vendor tables and thousands of square feet of model railroad
layouts will be on display.
